Is It Ever All About You?

Zepheniah 3:!7 GOD'S WORD Translation Bible

As believers, we have a complicated relationship with love.

We know we’re supposed to love others, yet we often have trouble believing we are loved and lovable.

Imagine the triumphant King of Israel, the one who rescued us from the power of darkness, celebrating over us with shouts of joy because we are now part of the Kingdom of His son:

The Lord your God is with you.
He is a hero who saves you.
He happily rejoices over you,
renews you with his love,
and celebrates over you with shouts of joy.

Zephaniah 3:17GW

Believe it: God is with you, saves you, rejoices over you, renews you, and celebrates over you.

It’s not all about you, but it is all for you. When God celebrates over you it’s because he loves you. You’re lovable and loved.

You’re worth the price he paid to redeem you because he alone is worthy to receive the glory for the sacrifice.
